The Florida Palestine Solidarity Network (FPSN) is a non-profit educational organization comprised of organizations and individuals throughout the state of Florida. We are a member organization of the U.S. Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation.

The FPSN was formed in 2003 by a group of Florida global justice activists wishing to work together to educate Floridians about the Israel-Palestine Conflict. The purpose of the FPSN is to rouse public opinion in favor of a comprehensive peace securing human rights and justice for the people of Palestine and Israel, in line with applicable United Nations resolutions and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The FPSN seeks to be a network -- an umbrella organization linking new and established groups throughout the state. We aim to bring together students, religious communities, anti-war groups, human rights advocates and non-affiliated individuals so that, rather than duplicating our efforts, we might pool our resources and our labor in the pursuit of true peace.

Any person or organization in Florida who supports our Unity Statement and Goals (below) may become a member of the network. If you or your organization would like to join the network, send to flpalsolidarity@riseup.net an email with the subject "Join." The email should include for our membership records your name, the name of your organization (if applicable), mailing address or city, telephone number, email address and any other pertinent information, such as related experience and areas of interest. If you are not already involved with a group in your area, we will do our best to put you in touch with other members who live near you so that you may get active in your community.

Once they have joined the network, FPSN members can post on our online Forum, utilize our vast collection of Resources and subscribe to our email list featuring Upcoming Events, News and Action Alerts. In addition to supporting FPSN-backed media campaigns and coordinated statewide tours, individual and organization members may act under the banner of the FPSN. Suggested activities include screenings films at a local college or coffee house, airing short documentaries on your public access channel, organizing talks or panel discussions on relevant topics, distributing educational information and hosting cultural events. 

Whereas the state of Israel is brutally and wrongfully occupying and colonizing Palestine, denying the indigenous population its innate freedom, killing civilians and confiscating land, the Florida Palestine Solidarity Network stands together as a coalition of individuals and organizations in Florida that:

• are dedicated to raising awareness about the true nature of the Israel-Palestine Conflict.
• are committed to helping end the Israeli occupation of Palestine and to supporting Palestinian liberation and self-determination.
• endorse the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Goals

• To stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people advocating a just peace for all peoples in Israel and Palestine.
• To link individuals and organizations throughout Florida who subscribe to our Unity Statement (above).
• To raise awareness about the true nature of the Israel-Palestine conflict through educational activities promoting critical thought, discussion and positive and peaceful action.
